Earning the Centennial Quality Unit Award is a very important award to achieve.  It tells the Scouting Community that your unit is doing what they are supposed to be doing.  Soon, the recharters for every unit will be coming out and they should be returned to the Council Office by December 15th.  If you need assistance in filling out a recharter, please call your District Commissioner and they will find a Unit Commissioner who can assist you in filling out the paperwork.

UNIFORM CLARIFICATION
Webelos, Boy Scouts and Cub/Boy Scout Leaders purchasing a khaki shirt will be sold green and khaki numerals. Cub Scouts in blue shirts wear red numerals.  Any uniform with red numerals is still considered appropriate.  Webelos and Cub Scout leaders will continue to wear blue shoulder loops.  Boy Scouts and their leaders may continue to wear red loops but they are no longer available for purchase in Scout shops.  Green shoulder loops will replace the red loops. Webelos and Boy Scouts who purchase a new shirt will be directed to purchase the new color scheme.

Collectibles from the Scout Shop
In Celebration of 100 years of Scouting, a limited edition of 12 sublimated embroidered emblems taken from the works of renowned illustration artists John Hintermeister and his son, Henry are being offered for sale in the Scout shop.  All 12 points of the Scout Law are available.  Emblems will not be sold separately and only 3 full sets are in stock.  This set would make a great Christmas gift for the Scouter who is a collector.  Current price per emblem is $13.99 plus tax.  However, the current selling price on E-bay is $19.99.  Call Lisa now to reserve one of the sets.
