WHAT'S NEW

Centennial Uniform
Beginning August 15, Boy Scouts and Scouters will be able to purchase from the Scout shop the Centennial Uniform. There will be a choice of fabrics not only in pants but also in shirts.

In pants there will be a forest green cotton rich poplin (67% cotton, 33% polyester) or forest green Supplex nylon. Both pants come in switchback convertible style with an unfinished hem and will be available in classic or relaxed fit.

Shirts will continue to be khaki in color. Fabric choices will be cotton poplin or nylon.

Bellow pockets will be featured on the front and left sleeve. Shoulder loops will be forest green. Unit numbers will now be khaki and forest green.

Changes will be seen in the uniform cap, belt and socks.

Cub Scout and Venturing uniforms will remain the same. Also, Boy Scouts and Scouters may continue to wear the red loops and numbers. The old style of uniform shirt will be available while supplies last.

Check Out Our New Look!

Starting August 1, our merit badge pamphlets will be color throughout. This cosmetic change from black and white to color will translate into greater interest to the boys, encouraging their reading and interest in the subject. Of the 120 current titles, two will be merging into one pamphlet, Architecture and Landscape Architecture, making the series 119 titles in all. Five others will be newly revised for August 2008: Auto Mechanics, Drafting, Emergency Preparedness, Farm Mechanics, and Swimming.
